Victory Heights Golf Residential and Development LLC, United Arab Emirates, the joint venture between Arcapita, a Bahrain based investment bank, and Dubai Sports City, has awarded a contract to Al Jaber Group to construct Phase 1, comprising 579 of the total projected 935 villas of the prestigious Victory Heights golf course villa community, situated within Dubai Sports City.
The total value of the contract is AED 977 Million and the first set of homes will be delivered in April, 2008.
‘The Victory Heights development is a unique endeavour and choosing the right contractors was imperative to ensure first-class quality,’ said Yasser Abdulla, General Manager of Victory Heights. ‘Al Jaber met our stringent requirements given their excellent track record and experience with other high level developments across the region.’
Victory Heights’ golf course villa community, has already sold out of its phase one villas and town houses, with the exception of a limited number of the five bedroom A and B type villas. The villas and townhouses are presented in a choice of styles: Mediterranean, Spanish Andalusian and Classic European and lavish landscaping and family entertainment add to the attractions of this beautiful development.
‘Victory Heights is one of the most impressive and sought-after residential projects in Dubai. We are delighted to be able to play such an integral role in the development of this prominent project,’ added Fatima Al Jaber, Group COO of Al Jaber Group, the Abu Dhabi-based construction company.
The Victory Heights community comprises 935 luxurious villas and townhouses set in and around ‘The Dunes’, the 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ernie Els and managed by Troon Golf, the world-leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing. Providing safe and secure family living with plenty of lush greenery and open spaces, all villas and townhouses combined will occupy less than 12 percent of the overall 25 million sq ft Victory Heights master plan, giving the whole community a real sense of spaciousness and tranquility.
Victory Heights’ residents will also benefit from a Mediterranean-style luxury golf clubhouse, a Butch Harmon School of Golf, a David Lloyd Tennis Academy and a prestigious Next Generation Country Club and Spa. Community facilities will be fully comprehensive including schools, community centres and shops, and the first-class sporting, leisure and entertainment facilities of Dubai Sports City will be on the doorstep.
‘We are demanding extremely high standards in everything we do to ensure that Dubai Sports City will be a centre of excellence in every possible way and a unique lifestyle environment,’ stated Khalid Al Zarooni, President of Dubai Sports City. ‘I congratulate Al Jaber Group on winning this significant contract.'’
