Plus Properties showcases premium projects at IREIS

Dubai-based property developer, Plus Properties is showcasing its premium development projects at IREIS between 27-29 January at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The crown jewel in its portfolio will be its latest project, Blue Dolphin Commercial Centre.

Valued at Dhs400m, Blue Dolphin Commercial Centre will be one of the first freehold office complexes to be developed at Abu Dhabi’s Al Raha Beach, just ten minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

This bespoke development has over 170,000 square feet of office space spread over seven floors, with suites that range in size from 1,200 to 6,000 square feet in area. The Centre will enjoy the gentle aspect of views over the adjacent canals of the Khor Al Raha district of Al Raha Beach and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2011.

Chairman of Plus Properties, George Chehwane, says: ‘Location is key in today’s property market and we believe that Blue Dolphin meets every criterion for success. Its location close to the Abu Dhabi International Airport is ideal for commuters, while being situated in the pleasant environment of Al Raha beach. In short we believe it helps address the shortage of high quality office space that is so much needed in Abu Dhabi.’

‘The government has a vision for the UAE and Plus Properties is involved not only in Abu Dhabi, but also Dubai and Ajman to help make this reality. We are proud to be part of the property sector in the UAE. Yes, we are experiencing tough times at the moment, but I believe the right measures that are being taken will pave the way for the country to emerge stronger as a result,’ said Chehwane.

In addition to Blue Dolphin, Plus Properties is also showcasing some of its other projects at IREIS including Pixel Towers, Beirut Towers, Wave I and Wave II in Dubai, Skygardens in Abu Dhabi and Plus Towers in Beirut. These projects have a total value of Dhs3bn and form part of Plus Properties’ total investment of Dhs70bn in the UAE real estate market.

Construction on all launched Plus Properties projects will begin this year with contracts having already been signed for the Wave, Pixel Towers and Skygardens projects.

Chehwane said, ‘Plus Properties’ enjoys a strong financial position and is well placed to ride out the difficulties besetting the wider market. We have faith in the underlying strength in the UAE real estate sector and are committed to deliver all of our projects on schedule.’

Plus Real Estate Brokers, the sister company of Plus Properties will also be displaying its portfolio at IREIS.
