Land deals worth Dh77.8m in Dubai registered

Land sales worth Dh77.8 million were recorded during the past two days, according to the report issued by the Dubai Lands and Properties Department.

It said eight deals were concluded in Dubai. The biggest deal was struck in Al Ghusais Industrial-1, where a plot changed hands for Dh31.4 million.

The second largest deal was in Nad Al Sheba, where a plot was sold for Dh10.3 million, followed by another that went for Dh7.5 million in Umm Suqueim-1.

Mirdiff was the most active with three transactions, followed by Al Ghusais Industrial-1 with one.

The biggest single plot to change hands was the 41,323,092-square-foot area in Nad Al Sheba, followed by the 156,750-square-foot plot in Al Ghusais Industrial-1. A 16,100-square-foot plot in Al Twar-3 fetched Dh2.1 million.

During the last two days three mortgages worth Dh7.3 million were also registered at the department.
