UK Motorsport Industry Association visits Dubai Autodrome

A high profile delegation from the Motorsport Industry Association recently visited the Dubai Autodrome, the region’s first fully integrated motorsports facility.

The delegation headed by Chris Aylett, Chief Executive of MIA was welcomed by Saeed Khalfan, Chairman of the Dubai Autodrome.

The visit involved a tour of the circuit and its facilities namely the Race & Driving School, the Kartdrome and Race Control as well as meeting with key officials from the Autodrome.

‘The Dubai Autodrome is delighted to welcome the MIA trade delegation, show them the track and its facilities and explain our future plans. The MIA represents the thriving British motorsport industry and along with UK Trade and Investment is facilitating close links with the emerging motorsport industry in the Gulf’, said Chris Norman, Track-Events/Race Executive of the Dubai Autodrome.

The Motorsport Industry Association known as the MIA was founded in 1994 and now represents more than 300 member companies, promotes and protects the interest of the British Motorsport industry. The MIA is active in developing motorsport business throughout the world, and with the support of UK Trade & Investment organizes trade missions and group attendance at international exhibitions.
