Emirates Glass has won three major orders to supply 30,000 square meters of its premium glass products to prestigious projects around Dubai, further consolidating its position as the leading supplier of quality products in the region.
Mr. Jerry Dowling, General Manager, Emirates Glass, said: ‘We have been contracted to supply five types of our premium high performance glass products to Gold Crest Tower, Golf Tower and Indigo Tower. This further strengthens our already established reputation as a reliable supplier of quality products. Our other strong point is perfect time management in delivery schedules.’
According to the contracts, Emirates Glass will supply 9,000 square meters of glass to the Gold Crest Tower and 10,000 square meters of glass to Indigo Tower, both at the Jumeirah Lake development. Around 11,000 square meters of glass is to be delivered to Golf Tower near Dubai Marina.
These contracts come close on the heels of the high-status supply contract to the Palm Jumeirah development announced during the Big 5 show recently. Emirates Glass has already begun supply of 140,000 square meters of its premium EmiCool Sun Gray/Bronze glass to the prestigious development and will be complete the execution in five months.
Emirates Glass has also been expanding its reach in the regional markets with major supply deals. The company executed contracts for the supply of more than 67,000 square meters of its products to 10 important regional projects - 42,000 square meters of glass for seven projects in Kuwait and 25,000 square meters of glass for three projects in Qatar. It is also in negotiations with various developers in Kuwait for the supply of an additional 40,000 square meters of its premium products.
As a part of its strategic move to expand business globally, Emirates Glass is also currently in negotiations for the supply of 14,000 square meters of its products to two international projects - one in the UK and another one in Singapore. The company has also expanded its distribution network by appointing new agents in Iraq, Bangladesh, Jordan and Iran and has begun delivering glass to these areas.
“These expansion activities reflect our management strategy of consolidating our position as a world-class glass supplier,” added Mr. Dowling, “Emirates Glass is looking forward to further expansions in the near future.”
