New headquarters for Dubai Properties by mid 2007

Dubai Properties announced today that it will move into its new headquarters by mid 2007.

The master developer is currently in the construction phase of the 388,000 sq.ft mid-rise building, located in the TECOM Free zone.

The new facility will have the capacity to accommodate Dubai Properties’ growing resources of the current 700 employees and the planned staff for the next five years. The facility will significantly enhance the company’s corporate unity while expanding the customer sales centre area.

Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties said: ‘The new headquarters represents a remarkable improvement from our previous locations, and will allow us to support the rapidly growing demand of our customers and investors. It will also serve as a showcase location as we establish ourselves as a leading provider of cutting-edge real estate developments.’

The building’s state-of-the-art architecture is an elegant composition of glass forms and white granite stone cladding. The architecture consists of three rectangular masses connected by two circular cores with commanding views to all sides of the free zone forming a ‘U’ shape with an entry plaza.

The new headquarters will feature a two-level state-of-the-art reception and customer service area. These will be supported by a hospitality centre with waiting areas, inquiry counters, meeting rooms, multi purpose hall and Majlis.

The building will also be equipped with a day-care center, a gymnasium and juice bar, two cafeterias, and two-level underground car park.

‘The new building convenes many of Dubai Properties future plans, combining space for the company’s future growth, a highly efficient layout for departments to interact and a central location that is very beneficial to our employees,’ added Al Dabal.

The sales centres located in DIC, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Business Bay will remain in operation and will continue to serve investors and customers of all its projects including Business Bay, Culture Village, JBR and The Villa.
