Tanmiyat participates in Cityscape 2006

One the region’s biggest property development firms, Tanmiyat Investments Group, announced that they will be participating in the International Property Investment and Development Exhibition - Cityscape Dubai 2006, between the 4th & 6th of December.

The firm, who is responsible for some of the UAE’s and Saudi Arabia’s most prolific projects, will be one of this year’s platinum sponsors for the event. Concentrating on two of their most significant projects being developed across the Emirate of Dubai, Tanmiyat are expected to showcase their Business Bay development; The Commercial Heights and the Dubai Land based mega project: The Living Legends.

“This is our third annual participation since 2004.” said Abdullah Al Majid Vice-Executive President for the General Investment sector of Tanmiyat Investment Group speaking of the significance of his firm’s participation at this year’s exhibition.

“This year, Tanmiyat is the Platinum Sponsor of Cityscape along with some of the region’s leading real estate companies. In addition to our sponsoring of the event, we will have a real estate stand with an area exceeding 350 square meters, showcasing some of what our firm has been developing in Dubai.”

Indeed, Tanmiyat’s two key Emirati projects are systematically contributing billions of dirhams to the UAE real estate market, with the recently launched Commercial Heights estimated at a value of $272.3 million. Located at Business Bay on the Sheikh Zayed Road, the development consists of three towers ranging between 35 and 37 storey in height: The Forum, The Court and the Exchange. Each tower will feature facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, business centre, cafes and covered parking.

The company’s centerpiece development ‘Asateer’ Living Legends will also be on prominent display at this year’s Cityscape. Located in the center of Dubai Land, the Living Legends will feature an assortment of residential apartments, villas, townhouses, commercial towers, hotel apartment’s towers, a retail shopping mall, theme parks and 5 star hotels, all finished in a thematic Arabian oriental design. Extending across an area of 24.7 million sq ft, the project is considered to be the first recreational resort in the Middle East that includes all of these amenities under one roof, at a cost well over $3.8 billion.

“What we are doing in the UAE is illustrative of the realty sector as a whole in the Middle East. Thus we are proud to be part of Cityscape, an event that is bringing like minds together on a platform that will further enhance this industry.” said Abdullah Al Majid.
