Bayswater’s enabling work reaches completion

Enabling work is almost complete on Omniyat Properties AED 345 million (US$ 92 million) 25-storey commercial tower, Bayswater.

The second of its four commercial developments with enabling work being driven forward by Al DAFRA Piling and Contracting Company (APCC)

‘The successful launch and sales figures of our first five projects is continuing through to actual construction, with three projects already under construction. The enabling work on Bayswater has progressed well, and is now on track for January 2007 to start on the main structure, which will be completed by the third quarter of 2008,’ said Mehdi Amjad, President and CEO, Omniyat Properties.

Bayswater, designed by Dubarch - the Dubai-based architectural and civil engineering firm - stands on a water-facing plot in Dubai’s Business Bay. The project will fill the mid-market segment targeted at medium sized companies that want competitively priced Grade-A office space.

The futuristic tower will feature Omniyat Properties hi-tech features as well as multiple access points and one of the highest ratios of parking to office space, with 875 parking bays spread over two basement and four podium floors.

‘Bayswater is a competitively priced building that will include Omniyat Properties hi-tech elements and high standard facilities, which will contribute to an efficient quality working environment’ added Amjad.
