Dubai Properties receives ISO 9001:2000 certification

Dubai Properties announced today it has received the coveted ISO 9001:2000 certification for excellence in quality and customer service.

The certification was awarded for the organisation’s Central Support Functions including technical support, infrastructure, human resources, quality assurance, procurement, revenue operations, corporate performance, finance and TECOM (Dubai Technology Media Free Zone Authority) functions such as zoning and master planning.

The ISO is among the world’s most renowned quality management standards with the ISO 9000 series used as an international reference for business-to-business dealings. It examines how an organisation fulfils customer quality and applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction.

The ISO 9000:2001 measures continual improvement of a company’s performance in pursuit of the ISO objectives, critical elements of Dubai Properties’ vision.

The certificate was presented to Dubai Properties by Ian Hodgskinson, LRQA Global Director, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, the world’s leading marine classification, inspection, verification, and certification company. LRQA is recognised as the global benchmark for business assurance services.
